Peter Hyballa, born in Bocholt, father German and sailor deacon in Rotterdam and church deacon in Bocholt, mother Dutch, globetrotter from Rotterdam and geriatric nurse in Bocholt.
As a football coach, he is writing his own very special story. The sports science graduate was one of the youngest football coaches in Germany and has been head coach in Namibia as well as coached the U19 top teams of Borussia Dortmund, VfL Wolfsburg and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. At 34, he was then the youngest head coach in paid professional football, at the time with Alemannia Aachen. Further positions followed in Austria, Slovakia, the Netherlands and many other countries and international leagues.
During his coaching stints, he has been able to demonstrate his skills and understanding of tactics, game analysis and practical field training. He gives his players the necessary confidence and the right ambition to realise their full potential.
In addition to his work as a coach, Peter Hyballa can also be seen regularly as a TV expert and tactics specialist for the ZDF Sportstudio, Sky Deutschland, DAZN and NOS. With his expertise and inspiring manner, he inspires audiences and is known for his entertaining analyses and assessments. During the UEFA European Championship 2021, he was a TV expert for tactical match analysis on ZDF.
With his broad knowledge and passion for football, he also offers coaching sessions and workshops worldwide.
In addition, he gives lectures as a speaker inspired by his own experiences. In his talks, he shares his stories about the challenges, successes and defeats he has mastered in (football) life.
